Sentries

The lighthouse at the tip of Capul, Northern Samar. Stands tall like a guard, beaming flashes of light in the dark of the night, warning ships from crossing its grounds.

The carabaos... grazing... standing guard too?

wow, so serene and peaceful. I always fancy living near a lighthouse.
yes, the carabaos seems to be the peaceful guards, waving the banner of truce.

burn: there is a spiral staircase inside but I heard that it is now unusable. sadly, walang funds to maintain it.

ever: american occupation period pa ang lighthouse. i remember climbing it when I was a kid. ngayon bawal na.

xprosaic: the spiral staircase inside would have looked amazing. unfortunately, it will take lots of funds to restore it.

From the looks alone, I could tell this lighthouse is an old one which makes it all the more very interesting. Any chance of going up there?
