These kids' balloons flew off then got entangled with tree branches.They ran to a policeman for help. The elderly officer did everything he could to retrieve the wayward toys. And when he did, a big round of applause was given him, not just by the kids but the crowd that has gathered around the scene.

what a lovely story, kuya aryo! i really love how this old policeman got out of his way to help the kids. i'm sure, in a way, he touched their lives and changed some negative thoughts about age/generation gap. hehe

That's the difference between law enforcement there and in the Philippines. In Manila, you have to think twice before approaching police officers for help.

I suddenly feel the urge to go to Japan and spread marbles in the highway then seek a policeman's help to retrieve them all for me. :D
